Pay: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift (5:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a skilled CNC Machinist for a reputable manufacturing partner in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will work closely with the Machine Shop Manager to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes in a production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hands-on machining experience looking to grow in a team-oriented workplace.

✅ Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes in a production setting
Load CNC programs and adjust as needed
Install fixtures and tooling on machines
Review shop orders, blueprints, and work instructions
Operate multiple machines when required
Deburr, inspect, and verify finished parts for quality
Perform secondary assembly operations as needed
Log job activity and production data using computer systems
Conduct daily machine inspections and maintenance checks
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

🎯 Qualifications

Required:

Minimum 2 years CNC mill/lathe experience
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to read and follow written instructions and blueprints
Strong work ethic with reliable attendance
Team-oriented mindset
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Preferred:

Experience in a manufacturing environment
Forklift operation and certification
Manual machining experience
Familiarity with Mori Seiki, Makino, or Horizontal Mills
