Material Planner — Direct Hire | $70–$85K | Manufacturing Environment

A growing manufacturing operation in South Central Indiana is seeking a Material Planner to support production, ensure material availability, and maintain on-time delivery performance. This is a direct-hire role offering stability, cross-functional collaboration, and long-term growth potential.

What You’ll Do

• Create material plans aligned with production schedules and forecasts
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing shortages and excess
• Monitor material availability and resolve supply issues proactively
• Coordinate forecasts and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Support supplier performance follow-up on delivery accuracy and flexibility
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Purchasing, and Logistics
• Analyze inventory trends and identify supply risks
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage material requirements and master data

What You Bring

• 2+ years in material planning, production planning, or supply chain
• OR 5+ years equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
