Mechanic

Located in Jonesboro , AR

Job Duties: 

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance issues using computerized diagnostic equipment 
• Perform engine repairs, engine replacements, and engine performance diagnostics
• Repair and replace transmission and drivetrain components 
• Service and repair automotive air conditioning and heating systems 
• Conduct preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid services, filters and tune-ups
• Complete vehicle inspections and accurately document findings and repair recommendations 
• Must have your own tools and specialty tools 
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair brake systems including pads, rotors, calipers, and hydraulic components 
• Perform steering, suspension, and wheel alignment services 
• Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems, wiring, sensors, and modules 
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Assist and mentor lower-level techs as needed
• Communicate repair needs and recommendations clearly with service advisors and customers

Requirements: 

• 3+ years of automotive repair experience 
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills 
• Able to perform advanced engine, transmission, electrical, and drivability repairs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Able to bend, stoop, reach, stretch, lift
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds 

Work Schedule: 7am to 5:30pm Monday - Friday
