Utility Worker (Hospital Food Service)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Utility Worker to support kitchen operations in a hospital environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary work areas, ensuring all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and organized, and supporting overall food service operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen work areas
Wash and properly store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Assist with stocking supplies and ensuring items are readily available for kitchen staff
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines in a healthcare setting
Support kitchen staff with general cleaning and operational needs
Assist with end-of-day cleanup to ensure the kitchen is ready for the next shift

Schedule & Pay

Shift: Approximately 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Days: Vary and may include weekends
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Qualifications

Previous food service or cleaning experience preferred but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
