Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks such as maintaining heat-treating ovens, welding, tool building, painting, equipment installation, custodial duties, etc. at our Titusville and Edgewater locations.

A Maintenance Technician has a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly while observing all health and safety guidelines.

 

The ideal Industrial Maintenance Technician will have:

• Proven experience in a manufacturing setting as a maintenance tech or mechanic;
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems;
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods;
• Working knowledge of tools, mechanical processes, and industrial environments;
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills;
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior maintenance staff;
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow maintenance checklists.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various environments.
• Basic understanding of OSHA safety regulations.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on a variety of systems requiring knowledge of welding, tooling, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical functions;
• Assist in the setup and teardown of various systems and conduct repairs;
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality;
• Repair and replace fixtures, doors, flooring, and basic structural components;
• Troubleshoot and fix common maintenance issues such as leaks, faulty outlets, or worn parts;
• Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs and report issues to supervisors;
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including tools and maintenance storage;
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company maintenance policies;
• Assist higher-level maintenance staff with more complex repairs and projects.
