Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Property Maintenance professional responsible for maintaining the safety, functionality, and overall appearance of commercial properties. This role involves performing routine maintenance, basic repairs, and groundskeeping, as well as supporting preventative maintenance efforts to ensure facilities remain clean, safe, and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Property Maintenance:

• Perform routine inspections and repairs of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• Conduct minor carpentry, painting, and drywall patching.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and restrooms.
• Monitor and secure vacant properties to prevent unauthorized access.

Groundskeeping:

• Mow, edge, and fertilize lawns; prune trees and shrubs.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems, including timers and valves.
• Remove debris, snow, and ice from walkways and parking areas.
• Plant and maintain flower beds, trees, and other landscaping features.
• Maintain outdoor fixtures such as benches, fences, and signage.

Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in property maintenance or groundskeeping.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, landscaping equipment, and basic mechanical systems.

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor settings across multiple properties.
• Will REQUIRE on-call availability.
• Frequent lifting, bending, and use of machinery.
