Garbage Truck Helper (Temporary) 

Pay: $25/hour
Location: Missoula, MT
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Start time 4:30 AM (End time: completion of route)

Job Overview

Express Employment is seeking a reliable and hardworking Garbage Truck Helper to join our team in Missoula. This is an active, outdoor position where you will ride on the back of a garbage truck and assist with collecting residential and commercial waste along assigned routes.

Responsibilities

• Ride on the back of the garbage truck and assist with waste collection
• Lift and load trash into the truck safely and efficiently
• Work as part of a team to complete daily routes
• Follow all safety procedures while on route

Requirements

• Ability to work early morning shifts starting at 4:30 AM
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to stay on your feet for the duration of the route
• Physically capable of lifting and repetitive movement
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Required Gear

• High-visibility (hi-vis) vest
• Work gloves
• Closed-toe, comfortable shoes suitable for long periods on your feet
