Press Brake Operator

$22.00-$25.00 per hour / DOE

Monday to Friday: 2:30 pm to 11:00pm 

We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and programming CNC press brake equipment to fabricate architectural aluminum and structural steel products according to customer specifications and quality standards. This role requires strong blueprint-reading skills, precision measurement experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Press Brake Operator Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC press brake machines.
  • Run bending and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
  • Program and adjust CNC controls to meet production requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Configure bend allowances for stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel materials.
  • Produce quality parts while maintaining tight tolerances.
  • Inspect and verify finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including:
    • Micrometers
    • Dial indicators
    • Calipers
    • Gauges
    • Other inspection tools
  • Perform spot inspections to ensure products meet customer specifications.
  • Complete production documentation and perform routine machine maintenance.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Press Brake Operator Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating CNC press brake equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
  • Experience working with architectural aluminum, stainless steel, and structural steel products preferred.
  • Proficiency using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment.
