Our client in Marion, IA is looking for Multiple 1st Shift Wire Harness Assemblers!

Position Summary: Are you detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and enjoy working with your hands? Our client is seeking dependable Wire Harness Assemblers to join their growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, inspecting, and packaging wire harnesses and electrical components used in a variety of applications. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy precision work, following detailed instructions, and being part of a team that takes pride in producing high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electrical components according to specifications and work instructions
  • Route, bundle, crimp, terminate, and connect wires and connectors
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and production documents
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment
  • Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process
  • Test completed assemblies to ensure proper functionality and compliance with specifications
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation
  • Identify and report quality concerns or production issues
  • Assist with inventory organization and material handling as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area

Qualifications:

  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, warehouse, or mechanical experience preferred
  • Experience working with small parts and detailed assembly work is a plus
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and blueprints
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Basic math and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to STAND for entirety of the workday
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for detailed assembly work
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

Schedule & Training

  • (Week 1 Training Schedule) Monday: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM; Tuesday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • (Week 2 Training Schedule) Monday – Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • (Once training is successfully completed) Monday – Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • This position offers consistent full-time hours, three-day weekends, and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Pay:

  • $17.50/hour
