Salary: $22-$25/hr DOE

We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a manufacturing company in Shirley, MA. This role is responsible for performing a variety of hands-on manufacturing, assembly, and production support activities to ensure products are built, tested, and prepared for shipment according to quality and customer requirements.

 

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of production machinery and equipment to support manufacturing operations.
• Assemble cables and other electromechanical components
• Perform through-hole soldering of electronic components on circuit boards (will train)
• Package finished products according to customer-specific labeling and shipping requirements
• Conduct basic product testing and accurately enter test results into company systems
• Follow work instructions, drawings, and production procedures
• Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met
• Assist with various manufacturing and production tasks as needed

 

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience such as machine operation or assembly
• Soldering experience preferred, particularly through-hole soldering
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to follow hands-on instructions and standardized procedures
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to support multiple areas of production

 

This is a full time position, Mon-Fri 8AM-4:30PM. The pay range is $22-25/hr DOE.
