Yard Hand

Located in Paris, TX

Salary: $16/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Yard Hand position for a local Paris, Tx company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Perform general yard maintenance and upkeep
• Clean and organize shop areas
• Pull PM parts to fill job orders
• Load and unload customer vehicles and freight trucks
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
• Make local deliveries using a company vehicle
• Sweep work areas and maintain a clean environment
• Mow grass and perform landscaping duties using a mower and weed eater
• Run errands to pick up parts and supplies as needed
• Assist with general labor tasks throughout the facility 

We like to hear from candidates with the following:

• Forklift experience preferred
• Experience with yard maintenance and landscaping equipment
• Delivery driving experience and a valid driver's license
• Ability to safely operate equipment such as forklifts, mowers, weed eaters, scissor lifts, and work trucks
• Respectful, responsible, functional, and punctual work ethic
• Ability to lift 10–20 pounds regularly
• Ability to bend, walk, stand, and work outdoors for extended periods
• Strong attention to safety and willingness to assist where needed
• Dependable team player with a positive attitude
