Position Details

  • Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
  • Part-Time Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week
  • Full-Time Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, beginning at 8:00 AM
  • Starting Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Advancement Opportunities: Pay increases based on experience, performance, and demonstrated skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bookkeeping and data entry tasks.
  • Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R)
  • Prepare, process, and track invoices.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts.
  • Process payroll and payroll tax filings.
  • Prepare and maintain W-2 and 1099 records.
  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Organize and maintain digital and paper filing systems.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate office activities
  • Assist with reports, spreadsheets, and administrative projects.
  • Support the Office Manager, Project Managers, and office staff with daily operations.
  • Ensure office efficiency and accuracy in all bookkeeping functions.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • QuickBooks experience required
  • Experience with payroll processing and payroll tax reporting
  • Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Experience preparing W-2s and 1099s.
  • General ledger reconciliation experience
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
