Supervisor Positions - 1st and 2nd Shift

Located in Clarksville, TN

Salary: $16.00 - $16.50 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking experienced candidates for a 1st Shift and a 2nd Shift Supervisor position with a Large Tile Manufacturer in Clarksville, TN. The 1st Shift position will pay $16 / hour, and the hours are Monday-Friday from 6:00AM – 2:00PM. The 2nd Shift position will pay $16.50 / hour, and the hours are Monday - Friday from 2:00PM - 10:00PM.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supervision of 25 - 50 employees
• Provide employee coaching and development and evaluation
• Resolve employee issues
• Works continuously to improve in all areas
• Manage departmental performance measures, plan/coordinate work, train, motivate, monitors and evaluate employee performance
• Maintain equipment structure
• Comply and enforce OSHA and in house health rules.

Qualifications:

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Has prior supervisor/team leader experience in a manufacturing environment
• 1-3 years experience in a leadership position in a manufacturing industry
• Able to work in a wet/hot dirty environment
• Possess excellent verbal and written skills
