Salary: $17.25 / hr.

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and industrious candidates for a Press Helper position with a Local Manufacturer of Packaging. This position will pay $17.25 per hour, and the hours are a 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule from 6:00 A.M.-6:00 P.M.

Responsibilities

• Prepares paper rolls, ink and other materials for paper printing
• Ensures ink and printing plates are prepared and organized for press use
• Assist Press Operators with changeovers and make-readies
• Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Complies with all Company Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols at all times.
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and carrying 30 lbs.
• Manufacturing experience of 1-2 years, preferred but not required
• Possess basic mechanical skills: must have the skills necessary to perform technical tasks
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Demonstrates organizational skills and highly detail oriented
• Able to work in a fast-pace, multi-task environment
• Able to stand or walk for entire shift, climb stairs
• Able to work in various temperatures and humidity levels
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: hearing protection, safety glasses and foot protection
