Continuous Improvement Engineer - $90,000 - $105,000 (DOE)

Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon is recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence for a high‑volume solar panel production facility. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving problems, optimizing systems, and implementing measurable improvements that support clean‑energy manufacturing.

What you get to do:

• Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste
• Facilitate root cause analysis using tools such as Fishbone diagrams and 5 Whys
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Drive projects to improve KPIs such as cycle time, yield, scrap, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, maintenance, supply chain)
• Standardize processes and ensure documentation is updated (SOPs, work instructions)
• Train employees on continuous improvement tools and methodologies
• Support audits and compliance initiatives
• Monitor and report on improvement project results

What you need to be successful:

• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles.
• Change management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
• Problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Leadership and influence without authority.

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:30PM

Pay: $90,000 - $105,000 (DOE)
