Metal Fabricator

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and inspecting metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality metal products, ensuring they meet strict specifications and safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and cutting-edge fabrication techniques in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence.

 

Requirements:

• Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment including cutting machines and electrical discharge machining tools to shape and form metal parts; conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and adherence to quality standards.
• Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments to inspect parts for quality control; apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in machining tasks.
• Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials and finished products within the workspace, following all relevant safety procedures.

 

Qualifications:

• Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret specifications; proficiency in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments for quality inspection.
• Familiarity with safety procedures related to forklift operation and machine use in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of tooling setup, sheet metal handling, quality inspection techniques, and the use of precision measuring instruments is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

 

Schedule & Pay:

• Full Time – In Person
• $17.00 - $21.00 per hour, D.O.E.
