Machine Operator – Water Jet / Rolls

Pay: $20.00–$25.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Location: South Fort Worth, TX Area

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Machine Operator for a growing manufacturing company in the South Fort Worth area. This position is ideal for candidates with manufacturing experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints. Experience operating industrial equipment is preferred, but training will be provided on company-specific machinery.

Machine Operator Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret mechanical and machined-part blueprints
  • Operate Water Jet equipment, Pyramid Rolls, Drill Presses, Lathes, and other manufacturing machinery
  • Follow work orders and production schedules
  • Set up, adjust, and monitor equipment during operation
  • Move between production lines and assist in multiple departments as needed
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and production standards
  • Follow OSHA regulations and Lockout/Tagout procedures
  • Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining accuracy
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Work overtime when required to meet production demands

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing experience preferred (4+ years preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience operating industrial manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to work safely around moving machinery
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
