Overview:

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a leading lumber and wood products manufacturer in the Yuba-Sutter area to hire a dependable Primeline Operator / Wood Finishing Laborer.

This position supports the primeline operation where lumber products are stained, primed, and finished before shipment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and has experience working with paints, stains, or coatings (preferred but not required).

This is a hands-on role offering steady hours and long-term opportunity within a growing manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feed lumber materials into the primeline machine
• Tail off finished lumber products from the line
• Assist with application of stain and primer coatings
• Monitor finish quality and consistency
• Help maintain proper coating coverage and appearance standards
• Perform cleanup of work area and coating equipment
• Follow safety procedures when handling paints, stains, and primers
• Support production team to meet daily output goals

Qualifications:

• Experience working with paint, stain, or wood coatings preferred
• Previous production or manufacturing experience a plus
• Comfortable working around machinery and conveyor systems
• Strong attention to detail for finish quality
• Reliable and team-oriented
• Ability to follow instructions and production schedules

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
• Comfortable working around wood dust and coating materials
