Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an Experienced Steel Welder for an established company in Sparta, TN. If you have a strong background in structural steel welding and experience working with metal building components, we want to hear from you!

Position Overview

The Steel Welder will be responsible for fabricating and welding structural steel components according to specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on structural steel components
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and measurements

Fabricate, fit, and assemble steel parts for construction projects
Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications

Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Steel Welder required
Experience welding structural steel required
Experience working with metal buildings strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety procedures
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing/fabrication environment
