Sewing Machine Operator

Salary: $18-$20 / per hour

Overview

We are actively looking for an experienced Sewing Machine Operator for our client's production team in Mississauga. This role is ideal for someone with strong industrial sewing experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of fabrics and materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines including Single Needle, Double Needle, Serger, and Blind Stitch machines

• Sew and assemble fabric products according to production specifications and quality standards

• Follow supervisor guidelines to ensure accuracy and consistency in all sewing tasks

• Inspect finished products for quality, durability, and proper construction

• Maintain equipment by performing basic cleaning and troubleshooting

• Support inventory and packaging tasks as needed

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of industrial sewing experience in a manufacturing environment

• Proficiency with Single Needle, Double Needle, Serger, and Blind Stitch machines

• Ability to work with various fabrics and materials

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Effective verbal communication in English, Mandarin, or Vietnamese

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

• Hours: 40 hours per week

• Schedule: 8‑hour shifts, Monday–Friday

• Additional Pay: Overtime available

• Job Type: Full-time
