Job Title: Racker/Packer 

 

Duties: 

Load and position heavy driveshaft components onto racks along the assembly line for processing

Safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs. while performing repetitive bending and lifting tasks

Remove finished products from the production line and rack them appropriately for further processing or shipment

Maintain consistent workflow by supporting and operating the assembly line during short-staffed conditions

Perform repetitive material handling tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production goals

Ensure proper placement of parts to prevent damage and maintain product quality standards

Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with company safety policies and procedures

 

Location: Madison Heights, MI

 

Position type: Full time, long term, permanent

 

Training Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (for 90 days)

 

Permanent Shift: 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

 

Pay: $16/hr. Per Hr. Paid Weekly

 

Physical Requirements:

Heavy lifting required
Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout shift in a manufacturing environment
An Ideal candidate will possess the following:

Heavy Lifting Required
Experience racking automotive parts by hand
Experience in powder coating manufacturing environment
High school diploma or GED
