Job Title: Manufacturing Accountant

Location: Bartholomew County, Indiana

 

A global manufacturer in Bartholomew County, IN is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Entry-Level Accountant to support our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in sales invoicing, cost accounting, and commercial finance who is eager to grow their skills. In this position, you’ll help manage daily accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, assist with budgeting and reporting, and ensure invoices and cost analyses are completed accurately and on time.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Prepare and process customer sales invoices accurately and on time
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
• Assist with cost accounting activities, including product costing, inventory analysis, and variance reporting
• Support monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and commercial finance analysis
• Analyze sales and profitability data to support business decisions
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure accurate financial information
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Assist with audits and financial reviews as needed

 

 

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 plus Bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of finance experience
• Experience with sales invoicing, cost accounting, or commercial finance is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
