Inventory Control Associate

A growing logistics and distribution operation in Plainfield is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to support inventory accuracy, auditing, and stock management activities. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and able to work independently.

Job Summary

• Assist with inventory control activities, including stock counts, audits, and stock rotation
• Research inventory discrepancies and help resolve inventory-related issues
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
• Use handheld devices and warehouse systems to complete inventory tasks
• Navigate multiple computer screens and systems simultaneously
• Support ongoing inventory accuracy and operational efficiency initiatives
• Work independently while following established procedures and processes

Monday-Friday
6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay

$18.75 per hour

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and confidence using multiple software systems
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens while completing tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues
• Experience using handheld scanners or mobile devices preferred
• Previous inventory control, auditing, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
• Ability to learn and follow inventory procedures and processes
