Salary: $28-35/hr

POSITION SUMMARY
· The Maintenance Technician serves as a backup for all facilities-related issues, providing support and coverage to ensure continuous operation and maintenance of equipment and building. They serve as the secondary point of contact for contractors and manage reoccurring maintenance issues to ensure timely resolution and facility reliability.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipment according to schedule.
· Troubleshoot, repair, and modify machinery and equipment as needed
· Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation for each piece of equipment.
· Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential issues.
· Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
· Fabricate, install, and maintain machinery as needed.
· Maintain all required logs and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
· Assist with facility improvements as needed.
· Collaborate closely with Production staff during equipment training
· Determine parts requirements and collaborate with Purchasing and Accounting departments for ordering.
· Log daily maintenance hours for machines, jobs, and projects in Maintenance log Smartsheet, and log and complete facilities related issues in Asana.
· Serve as backup maintenance representative for the Safety Committee.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· High school diploma or GED recommended
· 3-5 years skilled trades experience preferred
· 3-5 years as Industrial Maintenance Technician preferred
· 3-5 years manufacturing/production experience
· Dietary supplement or food industry experience preferred
· Hands-on maintenance experience with industrial machinery
· Packaging equipment experiences helpful
 
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Competent, accurate, and efficient in maintaining and repairing machines and equipment
· Skilled in troubleshooting when machines are not operating at full capacity
· Ability to maintain punctuality and predictable attendance.
· Demonstrate uncompromised integrity and strong ethical standards
 
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Lift up to 50 lbs.
· Squat, bend, and climb ladders
· Stand for full shift in fast-paced environment
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT
·         Exposure to food allergens in ingredients and finished products
·         Dusty conditions requiring protective gear (masks, gloves, etc.)
Noise from warehouse equipment
