🔧 DIESEL MECHANIC / MECHANIC HELPER

Maurice, LA | $18-$32/hr DOE

We're seeking a Diesel Mechanic and Mechanic Helper to join a busy fleet maintenance team. This position involves performing maintenance and repairs on concrete trucks and over-the-road trucks. 

Duties:

• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel-powered trucks
• Assist with inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
• Service concrete trucks and over-the-road trucks
• Change fluids, filters, brakes, and other components as needed
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and report findings
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow company safety procedures and maintenance schedules

 Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude and basic diesel knowledge preferred
• Experience with truck maintenance is a plus
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Ability to lift, bend, and work in a shop environment
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• Occasional Saturdays as needed
• 40–50 hours per week

 Pay:

• Mechanic Helper: $18-$20/hr.
• Experienced Diesel Mechanic: $28-$32/hr. DOE
