Senior Accountant - $30-$31/hr DOE

 

A local business in Spring, TX is searching for a Senior Accountant to assist in the company’s daily operations. This is 30 days, with the possibility of being hired on permanently depending on performance. The position is in a fast-paced environment and the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting. Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced senior accountant to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills who thrives in an independent work environment.

 

Summary of essential job functions:

• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Prepare and analyze financial data to support business operations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Senior Accountant or similar accounting role
• Multi-Family Housing industry experience preferred
• Experience with Yardi software preferred, or the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
