Service Technician

Located in Ottawa, ON

Salary: $20.00 to $22.00

Our client, a leader in mobility products, is currently looking for a responsible and experienced Full-Time Service Technician to join their team.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Must have power and hand tool experience (Allen keys, wrenches, ratchets, etc.)
• Ability to work independently/in a team
• Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
• Must have a G class license with a clean Driver’s Abstract
• Own vehicle
• Keen attention to detail (dealing with lots of small parts/washers/screws etc.)
• Patient and empathetic
• Professional
  

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Drive a minivan to client sites to deliver mobility products including hospital beds (team of 2)
• Repair mobility aids such as walkers, wheelchairs, and power wheelchairs
• Receive new stock and build new equipment
• Examine equipment to troubleshoot problems
• Research different brands of equipment to learn proper methods of repair
• Mainly going into hospitals, retirement residences, long term care facilities and client homes
• Provide excellent customer service
• Other duties as assigned

Wage: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm - Will be provided with work boots, uniform and paid lunches
