Location: McAllen, TX
Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $10.00–$12.00 per hour

 

Position Overview

A bookkeeping services company in McAllen is seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced office environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries.
  • Assist with client intake and document collection.
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and paper.
  • Perform data entry and basic administrative tasks.
  • Prepare correspondence, forms, and reports as needed.
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.
  • Assist bookkeeping staff with administrative support duties.
  • Maintain a clean and professional reception area.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Pay: $10.00–$12.00 per hour, based on experience.
