Program Manager – DoD Programs

Location: Stafford, VA
Pay Rate: $175,000 – $190,000 (Based on Experience)

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Program Manager to manage Department of Defense (DoD) programs. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical acumen, proven leadership in integrated project teams, and deep knowledge of the DoD acquisition process.

The Program Manager will serve as the primary interface with government stakeholders, executive leadership, and industry partners to ensure alignment with customer priorities, program objectives, and overall operational strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee DoD programs from initiation through execution and delivery
Serve as primary point of contact for government customers, executive management, and subcontractors
Lead integrated project teams and ensure cross-functional coordination across all program areas
Manage program budgets, schedules, and performance to ensure cost, quality, and timeline requirements are met
Oversee contract execution, compliance, and reporting in accordance with DoD requirements
Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships to ensure successful delivery of services and products
Align program execution with customer priorities and organizational strategy
Provide regular updates, reporting, and risk assessments to senior leadership

Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required
5+ years of experience managing DoD contracts and programs
Strong background in budget management, contract execution, and vendor/subcontractor oversight
PMP certification preferred
Strong technical aptitude and ability to manage complex program environments
Proven experience leading integrated project teams and cross-functional collaboration
Excellent communication and leadership skills
