Maintenance Technician/Millwright

Located in Plateville, WI

Salary: $18-$20/hour

Express Employment in Platteville has partnered with a Belmont, WI business in search of a Maintenance Technician/Millwright. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Operating cutting torches and plasma cutters
• Grinding, deburring, polishing, and finishing metal parts
• Performing first-piece and quality inspections using precision gauges
• Fabricating metal guards, racks, containers, tables, and railings
• Using machine shop equipment and fabrication tools
• Repairing and maintaining manufacturing racks and metal containers
• Reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Supporting fabrication, machining, and inspection operations

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of fabric materials and properties
• Experience using measuring tools and precision equipment
• Basic welding, fabrication, and machine shop skills
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable and punctual with a good attendance record

Wage: $18-20/hour

Schedule: Full-time, day shift hours
