Construction Technician
Location: Osceola, IN
Pay: Starting around $20/hr+, based on experience.
Top-end pay up to $30/hr for strong concrete, equipment, or construction experience.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am–5:00pm. Occasional Saturdays, all Overtime is mandatory.
Season: Main working season is March through November, with possible winter work available depending on workload.
We have Partnered with a local company looking to add hands-on workers to their new construction crew. This position focuses mainly on building high-end inground and above-ground pools, so we are looking for someone with construction experience who can work outside, use tools, operate equipment, and help get jobs done right.
This is a great fit for someone with a background in concrete finishing, heavy equipment operation, excavation, construction, plumbing, HVAC, or general trades work.
The day to day
- Assisting with new pool installations and construction projects
- Operating equipment such as Bobcats, skid steers, and mini excavators
- Helping with excavation, grading, prep work, and site cleanup
- Performing concrete installation, finishing, and repair work
- Assisting with plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical-related work
- Handling general construction and repair duties on job sites
- Cross-training during slower months when winter work is available
Experience Needed
- Construction, mechanical, concrete, or equipment experience
- Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Concrete finishing experience is highly preferred
- Bobcat, skid steer, or mini excavator experience is highly preferred
Additional Experience That Helps
- Pool construction or pool service experience
- Plumbing or HVAC background
- Knowledge of water chemistry or water balance
- Trade certifications
- Grading, excavation, or hardscape experience
