Our client in Marion is seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist (TIG Welder) to join their growing team. This role is focused primarily on TIG welding and fabrication, producing high-quality equipment while meeting production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements. Candidates should have a strong fabrication background and at least 3–5 years of TIG welding experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble equipment from blueprints while ensuring proper fit, finish, and quality standards.
• Perform TIG welding on a variety of materials and components.
• Layout, weld, grind, polish, and form materials using available equipment and tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Inspect welds and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with Engineering to identify and resolve fabrication or design concerns.
• Participate in project startup and closeout meetings, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Monitor project progress and communicate any delays, material shortages, or production concerns.
• Maintain a safe work environment and support all company safety initiatives.
• Identify and resolve fabrication issues as they arise.
• Work overtime as needed to meet customer and production requirements.

 Required Skills:

• Strong TIG welding skills and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring tools and fabrication processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

 Required Experience:

• 3–5 years of TIG welding experience required.
• Experience with fabrication, fitting, and assembly.
• Previous welding certifications are a plus.      

Position Type:

• Full-Time
• Hours: 5:00AM to 3:30PM, Monday – Friday
• Additional overtime hours may be required based on production needs.

Pay:

• $24.00–$28.00 per hour based on experience.
• Candidates with extensive TIG welding experience may be considered for rates up to $32.00 per hour.
