Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bilingual Onsite Monitor (English/Spanish) to support operations at a busy assembly plant in Matteson, IL. This role works closely with management to help assign, track, and properly place workers while ensuring clear communication between English- and Spanish-speaking employees.

Schedule Options

• Thursday – Monday
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Key Responsibilities

• Assist management with assigning and placing workers on the production floor
• Translate instructions and communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, and shift coverage
• Ensure employees are in correct work areas and following assignments
• Communicate staffing needs, shortages, or issues to supervisors
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of worker assignments
• Support onboarding and orientation of new hires
• Promote a safe, organized, and productive work environment
• Act as liaison between workforce and management

Qualifications

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
• Previous experience in staffing, warehouse, manufacturing, or coordination preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills (data entry, tracking)
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Work Environment

• Assembly/production plant setting
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Frequent interaction with large teams of employees
