Salary: $25.00/hr

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to transport materials, equipment, and supplies between multiple local locations within the city. This position does not require overnight travel or out-of-town routes. Drivers return home daily and play a key role in supporting daily operations through timely and efficient transportation services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Transport materials, equipment, and supplies between designated local facilities and job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
• Secure loads properly and ensure cargo is transported safely.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, mileage logs, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and site personnel regarding deliveries and scheduling.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
• Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of company vehicles.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record with the ability to meet company insurance requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year of Class A driving experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Ability to operate manual transmissions and various trailer configurations preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
