Warehouse Receiver / Lead

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Position Summary

A growing organization is seeking an experienced Warehouse Receiver who can step into a leadership role and eventually transition into warehouse management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with receiving, inventory, forklift, and team leadership experience who is looking for long-term career growth.

The successful candidate will oversee receiving operations, support a team of approximately five employees, and help ensure inventory accuracy across a large and diverse parts inventory. This role is expected to grow into a management position within the first several months.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
• Accurately match products to purchase orders and shipping documentation
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organization within the warehouse
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
• Coordinate the movement and storage of inventory throughout the facility
• Lead and support a team of warehouse employees
• Assist with training, coaching, and workflow coordination
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse operations
• Identify and resolve receiving, inventory, and logistics discrepancies
• Support continuous improvement of warehouse processes and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse receiving experience required
• Prior leadership, supervisory, or management experience required
• Forklift operating experience required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience managing large inventories with numerous part numbers
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Desire to advance into a warehouse management position
