Hours: Monday - Friday | 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Flexibility required for overtime, nights, and weekends as needed)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to join a growing team in Shreveport, LA. This position is responsible for receiving, shipping, packaging, storing, and organizing inventory while maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and ship products using handheld scanners
• Pull and process work orders accurately
• Load and unload materials safely following company procedures
• Package materials and steel coils for storage and shipment
• Organize inventory and maintain warehouse storage areas
• Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for damage or discrepancies
• Remove debris and prepare railcars for loading
• Assist with securing and handling materials in railcars
• Communicate incidents, damages, or safety concerns to management immediately
• Perform routine equipment inspections and monitor fluid levels
• Complete daily paperwork and inventory records
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times
• Participate in training programs and cross-training opportunities
• Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience required
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or metals warehousing preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Experience operating overhead cranes, Trackmobiles, or handheld RFID scanners is a plus
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Ability to accurately complete paperwork and inventory documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching
• Ability to safely work around heavy equipment and moving machinery
• Ability to read measuring devices and shipping documentation
• Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials as required
