Pay Rate: $24.00 / hour
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
(Note: Must be able to train on 1st Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, for the first week)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and analytical Electronics Test Technician to join a global, top-tier electronics manufacturing provider at their North American headquarters in Southlake.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for validating the functionality of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and sub-systems. You will ensure that all products meet strict performance benchmarks, diagnose failing components, and collaborate with engineering teams to maintain the highest standards of quality excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Production Testing: Conduct functional production testing on a wide range of electronic assemblies to ensure they meet strict customer and operational performance guidelines.

Component-Level Troubleshooting: Analyze test failures, diagnose malfunctions, and perform technical repairs/troubleshooting down to the component level.

Systems & Data Logging: Confirm production work orders within SAP, accurately record detailed diagnostic and test data in the Aegis system, and maintain material traceability.

Engineering Collaboration: Work alongside Test Engineering and clients to review new test procedures, handle Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) units, and recommend process improvements.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on electronics circuit testing and component-level troubleshooting experience.

Technical Blueprint Literacy: Proven ability to read, interpret, and fully understand schematic drawings, assembly blueprints, Bills of Materials (BOM), manufacturing work instructions, and technical test procedures.

Industry Standards: Strong familiarity with IPC-A-610 accept/reject criteria regarding electronics assembly and component placement.

Data Sheet Interpretation: Ability to interpret component manufacturer data sheets regarding package design, part/lot numbers, correct orientation, and other technical specifications.

Communication & Software: Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal). Basic computer literacy to navigate SAP and Aegis systems.
