Express is looking for a reliable Janitor/Housekeeper for one of our great Tifton clients

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly facility environment. This Janitor/Housekeeper role involves routine commercial cleaning, light maintenance, and ensuring all areas meet health, sanitation, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and wax floors
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
• Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report repairs or supply needs
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs)
• Follow safety guidelines and properly use cleaning chemicals
• Report any safety hazards, damages, or security concerns

Schedule: Monday–Friday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is a plus
• Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment (buffers, vacuums, floor machines, etc.)
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and time management skills

 Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements
Comfortable working in both quiet and high-traffic environments
