Pack-Out

Located in Clarksville, TN

Salary: $20.00 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable, industrious, and efficient candidates for a Pack-Out position with a local Fiberglass Production Facility. This position will pay $17.00 per hour, and the hours are on a rotating schedule Monday-Sunday from 7:00 A.M.-7:00 P.M and 7:00 P.M-7:00 A.M

Responsibilities:

• Works effectively as a team player and demonstrates teamwork with peers and management in every department and level.
• Performs work duties consistent with the job in the scale/packaging area as assigned by management.
• Follows written or verbal work instructions in accordance with furnace operating procedures
• Utilize working knowledge of scale weighing equipment and collection conveyor systems
• Works to ensure safe, productive, high quality fiber and chopped strand production
• Works to ensure production goals in pack-out are met while monitors critical process variables and product quality
• Must have ability & willingness to perform at the Company’s excepted level of attendance; to work every day, on time, as scheduled. Ability to work safely following all policies and procedures; safety is a condition of employment.
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Capable of frequent lifting or moving lightweight materials up to 25 lbs.
• Follows written and verbal communications and instructions.
• Works safely with no accidents. Maintains acceptable housekeeping. Participates in the plant's safety and housekeeping initiatives.
• 3 years of work experience preferred.
• Capable of regularly required physical demands to sit or stand, walk, bend and climb, reach and grasp.
• Capable of regularly working in hot temperatures.
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Steeled toed shoes/boots, Company supplied: Safety Eyewear, Hearing Protection, Gloves, Protective Sleeves, and safety vest
• High School Diploma or GED
