Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building and Grounds Maintenance Worker to join a local team on second shift. The ideal candidate will independently manage time and tasks while ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and upkeep of the facility and grounds during a Monday - Thursday afternoon schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facility Cleaning: Dust, mop, and vacuum hallways. Empty garbage and recycle cans. Maintain floors, restrooms, and break rooms.

• Grounds Maintenance: Lawn care, landscaping, and sidewalk maintenance. Upkeep of water features, patio, smoking area, and parking lot. Snow removal during winter months.

• Building Repairs and Maintenance: Structural repairs: floors, doors, ceilings, locks, and windows. Painting and touch-ups. Electrical repairs: replace receptacles, switches, light bulbs, ballasts, and fixtures. Plumbing repairs: fix faucets, sinks, toilets, unclog drains, and more.

• Additional Responsibilities: Work independently while efficiently managing time.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in building and grounds maintenance is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and structural repairs.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to pass a background screening.
  
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle check.
