Our Ajax client, a leading plumbing and HVAC supplier, is looking for a Temporary Delivery Driver to assist with vacation coverage!

Responsibilities:

• Operate a company pickup truck to complete scheduled deliveries to customer locations, shops, and job sites
• Load and unload products and materials into truck
• Deliver a variety of products and materials (HVAC equipment, water heaters, plumbing supplies, pipes, etc.)
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of company vehicle
• Work closely with warehouse and customer service teams to coordinate deliveries
• Utilize the truck's power tailgate to safely load and unload materials
• Follow all company safety policies and transportation regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience as Delivery Driver
• Valid Class G Driver’s License
• Clean Driver’s Abstract
• Physically fit, reliable, punctual, and dedicated
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
• Comfortable loading and unloading products by hand
• Steel toe boots required

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience delivering building materials, HVAC equipment, and plumbing supplies (asset)
• Great work ethic, and positive attitude
• Diligent worker with great organizational skills

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 3:00pm
• Pay Rate: $22 per hour
