General Labor - Seasonal

Located in Westfield, NY

Salary: 21.00

Express Employment Professionals is currently filling General Laborer positions for our client in Westfield, NY.  We are looking for 2 individuals who will be working under the general supervision of the bottling department.    Hours are 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM with the pay rate of $21.00/hr.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Palletize finished case goods
• Dump empty glass in accordance with stringent manufacturing procedures
• Properly place empty cartons on box conveyor
• Discard any damaged cartons
• Remove any defective bottles from dump table
• Neatly place finished case goods on pallet
• Look for cases that are damaged
• Perform various cleaning tasks and case goods rework when required
• Observe safety rules and regulations.

Skills Required:

• HS Diploma or GED Required
• Must be able to lift up to 60lbs on a consistent, repetitive basis
• Must be able to understand and carry out all written and oral directions
• Must wear all proper PPE provided by the company; head covering, safety glasses at all time and ear protection if required.
