Prepare, organize, and submit permit application packages with the required drawings and supporting documents

Navigate company files quickly and accurately to locate forms, drawings, and documentation needed for permit and utility submissions

Track permit and utility items diligently and follow through consistently rather than treating submissions as a one-time task

Help avoid overcommunication or unnecessary complexity in applications by focusing on what is needed to move the project forward

Coordinate internally with team members to gather information, drawings, and updates required for project submittals

Qualifications

Ability to communicate project scope clearly, simply, and electronically

Strong document management skills and comfort navigating company file systems efficiently

Required Technical Skills

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who can take a project need, quickly figure out what is required, gather the right information, and move the process forward with confidence. This person must be professional, resourceful, persistent, and able to represent our company well with utilities, permitting offices, and internal team members.

Preferred Background

Experience in commercial construction, electrical contracting, infrastructure, civil coordination, or related project environments

Prior experience with permit applications, utility coordination, or project document management

Experience working in fast-paced project environments where timelines and follow-up matter

Why This Role Matters

This role plays a key part in keeping projects moving. Success in this position means reducing delays, communicating clearly with outside stakeholders, and helping the team submit complete, clean, and effective utility and permitting packages.
