About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Project Coordinator to support commercial electrical and infrastructure projects by helping move utility coordination and permitting processes forward efficiently and professionally. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to simplify project information, communicate clearly with outside agencies, and stay persistent in pushing applications through to completion.
This is not a passive administrative role. The right person must be able to research requirements, gather project documentation, communicate effectively with utility and permitting contacts, and keep projects moving without overcomplicating the scope.

• Communicate professionally and effectively with utility engineers using appropriate industry terminology and project language
• Review and understand utility infrastructure components at a general level and help communicate proposed project plans clearly in electronic form
• Support the construction permitting process from intake through follow-up
• Present project scope to permitting offices in the clearest and simplest way possible
• Prepare, organize, and submit permit application packages with the required drawings and supporting documents
• Navigate company files quickly and accurately to locate forms, drawings, and documentation needed for permit and utility submissions
• Track permit and utility items diligently and follow through consistently rather than treating submissions as a one-time task
• Help avoid overcommunication or unnecessary complexity in applications by focusing on what is needed to move the project forward
• Coordinate internally with team members to gather information, drawings, and updates required for project submittals
Qualifications
• General understanding of utility coordination and how utility engagement can vary from provider to provider
• General understanding of the construction permitting process
• Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with utility and permitting personnel
• Strong interpersonal skills, including likeability, charisma, and professionalism
• High level of diligence, persistence, and follow-through
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and submissions at once
• Ability to interpret project drawings and visually understand infrastructure components and proposed plans
• Ability to communicate project scope clearly, simply, and electronically
• Strong document management skills and comfort navigating company file systems efficiently
Required Technical Skills
Proficiency in:

What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who can take a project need, quickly figure out what is required, gather the right information, and move the process forward with confidence. This person must be professional, resourceful, persistent, and able to represent our company well with utilities, permitting offices, and internal team members.
Preferred Background
• Experience in commercial construction, electrical contracting, infrastructure, civil coordination, or related project environments
• Prior experience with permit applications, utility coordination, or project document management
