The Landscaper is responsible for maintaining the beauty, health, and appearance of the country club's grounds, including golf course surroundings, clubhouses, gardens, walkways, and recreational areas. This position helps ensure that members and guests enjoy a clean, attractive, and well-maintained outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, trim, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas.
• Plant, water, fertilize, and prune trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation.
• Remove weeds, leaves, debris, and litter from club grounds.
• Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters safely and effectively.
• Assist with irrigation system maintenance and repairs.
• Apply mulch, soil amendments, and fertilizers as directed.
• Monitor plants and turf for signs of disease, pests, or damage and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain bunkers, pathways, flower beds, and decorative landscape features.
• Assist with seasonal landscaping projects and special event setup as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain equipment in good working order.

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, golf course, or outdoor maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely.
• Knowledge of basic horticulture and plant care practices is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality grounds.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday.

Working Conditions

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motion.
• Outdoor work in heat, cold, rain, and other weather conditions.
• May require early morning, weekend, holiday, or overtime hours depending on seasonal needs.
