General Labor / Furniture Mover

📍 Location: Greenwood, MS
💵 Pay: $20 an hour 
🕒 Schedule: Temporary for 2 days—starting next tuesday 

Job Summary:

We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals for a General Labor / Furniture Moving position in Greenwood, MS. Candidates will assist with loading, unloading, moving, assembling, and transporting furniture and household or commercial items. This role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

• Load and unload furniture, equipment, and household/commercial items
• Safely move furniture into homes, offices, warehouses, or job sites
• Lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items (50–100+ lbs. with team assistance)
• Wrap, pad, and protect furniture during transportation
• Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and truck
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
• Assist with general labor duties as assigned

Requirements:

✔ Previous moving, warehouse, delivery, or general labor experience preferred but not required
✔ Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more consistently
✔ Reliable transportation to work in Greenwood, MS
✔ Ability to work in various weather conditions
✔ Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
✔ Good attendance and punctuality required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Furniture moving experience
• Warehouse or construction labor background
• Valid Driver’s License (a plus, not required)
