General Labourer / Machine Operator
We are currently hiring General Labourers / Machine Operators for a manufacturing facility in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
This is a fast-paced production environment involving machine operation, quality inspection, and material handling. Training is provided.
Job Duties:
- Load steel parts into production machinery
- Operate machines safely and efficiently
- Remove finished parts and place them onto skids/pallets
- Perform visual quality inspections for scratches, chips, or defects
- Measure parts using basic measuring tools
- Follow production schedules and workplace safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 months of manufacturing experience required
- Previous machine operating experience considered an asset
- Comfortable performing repetitive work throughout the shift
- Able to lift up to 18 lbs on a repetitive basis
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for safety and training purposes
