Job Overview
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable General Labour to join our team in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role involves physically demanding tasks that support the distribution process, primarily within the furniture sectors. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with heavy materials, loading and unloading trucks with furniture and working in a team.This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in distribution and shipping and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Assist with packaging and preparing products for shipment, ensuring quality standards are met
• Loading and Unloading trucks with classroom furniture
• Shipping and Receiving
• Assembly and disassembly of furniture
• Operate basic mechanical tools and equipment as needed for production tasks
• Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and materials in the work area
• Follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment

Skills

• Ability to lift 50-100lbs on a repetitive basis
• Knowledge of power tools/ hand tools
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality and safety standards are maintained
