Shop Supervisor

Located in Edmonton, AB

Salary: $45.00–$55.00/hour

An Edmonton client is seeking a Shop Supervisor to join their team.

Shop Supervisor Highlights:

• Oversee daily shop operations in a highly technical, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Supervise and support millwrights and labour staff while ensuring production targets are met.
• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of CNC and industrial equipment.
• Provide guidance on mechanical and electrical diagnostics (200V–600V systems).
• Support preventative maintenance schedules and breakdown response activities.
• Ensure safety standards, quality control, and production efficiency are consistently met.
• Review and log work orders, machine data, and maintenance activity in CMMS (Epicor).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and workflow optimization.

Requirements:

• 5–7+ years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience required.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a shop or industrial setting required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting background required.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience considered a strong asset.
• Experience with CNC equipment (Fanuc, Toshiba controls) considered an asset.
• Fabrication and welding experience (Stick/MIG) considered an asset.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing team performance and priorities.
• Comfortable working in a shop environment and occasionally at heights up to ~30 ft.

Hours & Wage:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• $45.00–$55.00/hour (based on experience and capability)
• Full-time, steady schedule
