Express Employment Professionals of Centennial and Castle Rock is seeking a Purchasing Agent for a growing company in Centennial, CO. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, obtaining vendor quotes, managing purchasing activities, and ensuring project materials are delivered accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys building strong vendor relationships while supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
Job Highlights:
- Source materials, products, and services from qualified vendors
- Email specifications, drawings, and project requirements to suppliers
- Solicit and compare vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing and lead times
- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and order status
- Create and manage purchase orders for project-related materials
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure purchasing aligns with project timelines
- Track orders and proactively resolve delivery or supply issues
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor information
What We Look For:
- 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience
- Strong communication and vendor management skills
- Experience obtaining quotes and negotiating pricing preferred
- Ability to read and understand specifications, drawings, or project requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
