Salary: $18-20/hr

Job Duties

1.       Conduct press operations to provide quality parts. 

2.       Monitor parts for any quality issues. i.e., defective material or parts.

3.       Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition utilizing OSHA required safety standards.

4.       Quality check parts by using micrometers, calipers and gauges.

5.       Perform additional duties as requested. i.e., shop cleaning when press machines are down.

Knowledge and Skills:

1.        Familiar with ISO 9000 Quality System.

2.       Technical Capacity.

3.       Team work oriented.

4.       Initiative.

5.       Good communication skills and reasoning ability.

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 40lbs.

Education and/or Experience: 

1.       Minimum high school/GED required. 

2.       Minimum 5 years of experience.

3.       Experience using measuring devices: calipers and micrometers.

 

Position Type/Hours of Work: This is a full-time position.  Currently there is only one shift.  The hours are Monday-Friday, 6:00a-2:30p. 

Travel: There is no travel with this position.
